Iconic Predator League challenges VALORANT players
Predator League Brings Its First Russian Open Cup to VALORANT
Acer's gaming brand Predator is launching Russia's first Predator League Open Cup, a VALORANT tournament open to virtually anyone — with the exception of professional players.
The competition will be played entirely online, a format designed to give competitors from every part of the country an equal shot at the title. The prize pool stands at 500,000 rubles, along with the honor of becoming the first Russian Predator League Open Cup champion.
Predator League has run esports events since 2018, concentrated mainly in the Asia-Pacific region, where it has drawn thousands of teams and millions of viewers. Across 16 countries, 66 major tournaments have been staged under the series banner.
At the center of the new cup is VALORANT, Riot Games' first-person tactical shooter in which two squads of five meet in fast-paced matches. Success depends not only on precise shooting and individual skill but also on agent abilities, strategic planning, and coordinated team play.
