Huang Boasted: AI Accelerator Orders Far Exceeded All Forecasts
NVIDIA is increasingly focusing on the highly profitable artificial intelligence sector. In an interview with FOX, the company's CEO Jensen Huang stated that the volume of orders for AI accelerators has become "significantly higher" than the previously announced figure of $500 billion.
Huang noted that the demand for the company's products is incredibly high, and the AI field is rapidly developing: in addition to language models, breakthrough "physical AIs" capable of understanding cause-and-effect relationships and the laws of physics are emerging. He also mentioned the expansion of production in the USA.
However, this focus has consequences for the gaming market. According to leaks, due to the need to fulfill huge orders from the AI sector, NVIDIA is winding down or halting production of some RTX 50 series graphics cards. It was previously reported that even the base model RTX 5060 may soon become scarce.
