The manga "Books Bought with Tax Money" (Zeikin de Katta Hon) by Zuino and Keiyama Kei is about to reach a new level with two screen adaptations for every taste. A live-action series starring Japanese actors will premiere on the local NHK General channel this summer, and an anime adaptation is also in the works, though details are still scarce.
The series debuted on the YanMaga Web service in 2021, quickly moved to the pages of Weekly Young Magazine, and already has 18 tankobon volumes.
