Hollow knight silksong fans will be able to put the game disc on their shelf but at twice the price physical edition of the game announced

Team Cherry has announced a retail release of Hollow Knight: Silksong via Fangamer, landing on October 16, 2026 for PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. The sticker price: $39 USD for the PS5 and Xbox editions, $45 USD for the Switch 2 version. Inside each box you’ll find the game, a reversible cover, a 32‑page manual and a mini‑poster — but the Sea of Sorrow expansion won’t be included on cartridge/disc (so expect a download for that). Pre‑orders are already open.

Silksong is also available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam and GOG) for $19.99, and it’s on Game Pass as well.
