The esports organization HEROIC in Counter-Strike 2 is once again forced to use a substitute at the tournament starting tomorrow, IEM Krakow 2026. The team will not be able to compete with its full roster due to bureaucratic difficulties.
A Chronic Problem
The tournament will be missed by Alimzhan "alkarenn" Bitimbay. The reason for his absence is unresolved visa issues. It is worth noting that this is already the second consecutive event the player is missing for this reason — previously he was unable to attend BLAST Bounty Winter 2026.
yxngstxr Steps In Again
Bitimbay's place on the server will be taken by Simon "yxngstxr" Boye. The substitution has already been practically confirmed: at the time of this news publication, HEROIC had arrived at the media day in Krakow together with Simon.
