Hardcore gamers: Escape from Tarkov will nerf the final mission

The developers of Escape from Tarkov have once again changed the rules for the final evacuation on the Zubr ship. After an update that drew criticism for providing only one spot on the boat for a squad, Battlestate Games has adjusted the mechanics.

Now, squads of three or fewer players are guaranteed to get spots for evacuation. However, for teams of four or five, the situation remains uncertain: there may be one less spot on the ship than there are participants. The exact number of spots will only be known upon reaching the evacuation point, forcing the squad to decide who will stay behind and be killed.

Thus, completing the final mission as part of a large squad is still risky. The developers recommend forming a group of no more than three players to ensure that everyone completes the game.
