Supergiant Games has set a firm drop date for Hades II: April 14, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series (S/X). On launch day it will also hit the Microsoft Store and be added to Game Pass — the first Hades is already on that service, if that factors into your decision.

Players have been poking around the Greek gods for about two years now, thanks to early access; the Steam rating (95% positive) says a lot, or at least it says many people enjoyed it. The story follows Melinoë, Zagreus’s sister from Hades, as she tangles with Kronos. The developers pushed the 1.0 release in September 2025, and for a time the title was treated as a timed exclusive on Nintendo Switch.
