Square Enix has officially announced that the total sales of NieR:Automata across all platforms have surpassed 10 million copies. This is a very substantial achievement for the project, yet also highly anticipated. This is especially true when considering the popularity of 2B and the number of collaborations this game has had with other projects—the developers also reminded us of these, though the video was significantly sped up.

However, the most important part of the fresh announcement is something else. At the very end of the video, we can see the text "NieR:Automata to be continued...", which can be considered an announcement of the next NieR installment.
