Global Relaunch of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds: Blockchain Version is Being Axed, Game Will Be Relaunched
Netmarble has announced it will shut down the blockchain-powered version of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. All servers — including the official forum and the MARBLEX service — are scheduled to go offline on September 17, 2026.
According to studio management, this operational model no longer supports steady development or the level of gameplay they want to deliver. The team says a support program for existing players will follow; there won't be a direct character transfer, but progress won't be ignored. On July 2, 2026 the game will record combat power (CP), i.e., a snapshot of player strength, and those figures will determine compensation bonuses for use on the new global server (e.g., rewards tied to recorded CP).
Sales of paid items in the current client will stop on July 2 as well. The studio will publish full details about the reward scheme and the transition process later — players should watch official channels for follow-ups.
