BC.Game Counter-Strike 2 Captain Calls Team's Performance on Decider Map Against FaZe Clan Poor
BC.Game Esports' Counter-Strike 2 captain, Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes, summed up his team's performance at IEM Krakow 2026. The Portuguese esports athlete admitted that the team failed to handle the pressure in the crucial moment of the match against FaZe Clan.
Post-Match Analysis
Fernandes noted that the series was inconsistent: while the team showed quality CS on Nuke, problems arose on the first and especially the third map. The captain cited his own unsuccessful tactical decisions as the main reason for the defeat on the decider.
"We played very well on Nuke, but now, on the last [map], we just got destroyed. The calls were bad: they didn't fit the opponent's setups and they didn't work. We couldn't win rounds ..., especially on the defense side. A poor game from us."
Growing Pains
MUTiRiS emphasized that BC.Game is still a new team. They are still struggling to prepare a quality map pool for all maps, and during matches, players are hindered by excessive emotions and communication errors.
"We are still a new team that makes a lot of mistakes, which makes it much harder to play. We need to get to know each other better, learn to understand our teammates, and become better."
Earlier, analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields predicted a wave of criticism directed at Aleksandr Kostyliev following BC.Game's loss to FaZe Clan. The Briton ironically noted that now "morons" will undeservedly consider broky a stronger sniper than s1mple.
