Gigabyte also wants to make a portable console, but not like everyone else's, and under the AORUS brand
Gigabyte CEO Eddie Lin recently confirmed in an interview that the company is considering releasing a portable gaming console under the AORUS brand. However, he emphasized that Gigabyte is in no rush to enter the market, as it does not want to simply copy existing solutions. Lin noted that the modern portable PC market has become too monotonous. Most devices from major brands and Chinese manufacturers use similar design templates and hardware platforms. Gigabyte will only enter this segment when it can offer something that will set its product apart from the competition. According to the CEO, it is easy to create a standard console using ready-made templates, but this is unacceptable for Aorus.
