Genshin Impact developers have unveiled a story trailer and skills for the enchanting Xianyun.

HoYoverse has released a story trailer for Xianyun, a new character in Genshin Impact, who will be available in the wish system on February 3rd.

The animated video lasts just over four minutes. A young girl climbs a mountain in search of herbs for her sick mother. There, she meets an "Adeptus" and listens to her story. "A day in the heavens is a century on earth" — it is after these words, spoken by Xianyun, that strange metamorphoses begin to occur in the surroundings. The girl runs away and realizes she has spent many years in the mountains without any change in her appearance. Then she wakes up in the same place where she stopped to rest and finds a basket of herbs beside her.

Xianyun is a five-star Geo character. When using her Elemental Skill, she enters the "Moon Phase Shift" mode and releases multiple waves of Moon Crystals that deal explosive damage. Another special skill allows her to accumulate "Radiance" — when used, a phantom horse appears.

The wish featuring Xianyun will be the second one within version 6.3 "Moon IV". Recall that it was released on January 14th and brought a continuation of the story to the game along with the character Columbina.
