More Players, More Money: Nexon to Release Hyper-Localized ARC Raiders in China with Tencent
Nexon and Tencent had previously agreed to release the extraction shooter ARC Raiders from Embark Studios in China and have not abandoned their plans, as confirmed by Nexon CEO Lee Jung-hun in a conversation with investors.
The two Asian giants continue to prepare a "hyper-localized" version of the phenomenon for the audience from the Middle Kingdom, but details are not being disclosed at this time. The company also has big and long-term plans for the successful intellectual property.
I would like to say that the management team is making every effort from a macroeconomic perspective so that in the long term, the ARC Raiders IP, as well as the Embark development team, become a solid pillar of Nexon's entire portfolio.
