Frosthaven Developers Discuss New Features in Legacy of the Algox Update

The second content update for the early access of Frosthaven, Legacy of the Algox, will add three new heroes, a new storyline, new biomes, a pet, and much more.

The digital adaptation of the highly popular board game will introduce the Algox storyline after the update's release on January 22. The Unfettered are finished, and now the conflict with the Algox is escalating. An envoy arrives in the world with a potential solution, and the heroes of Frosthaven must focus their attention on this conflict and assist in the negotiation process to determine the fate of the Algox and their future legacy.

The game will feature three new playable heroes, each representing an advanced class. Astral, Drill, and Shackle will allow you to diversify your parties with their playstyles and unique abilities. You will first need to unlock them by completing scenarios. They will be joined by a new pet, the 11th in the game.

Two new biomes will also appear, along with nine building upgrades that will allow you to continue developing Frosthaven, over 25 new quests, and 31 items. These items can be crafted and found while completing the new quests. New Town Hall challenges will also be introduced, which can further enhance your party's capabilities.
