Fresh World of Warcraft: Midnight Trailers Dedicated to New Playable Race and Arator

The World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion for World of Warcraft has received two fresh trailers. One is dedicated to the new playable race — the Haranir. The other shows how the antagonist Xal'atath attempts to manipulate the paladin of the Light — the half-elf Arator.

The Haranir are representatives of a secretive race that lives in ancient jungles at the very roots of the World Tree. They possess powerful nature magic and can transform into large, spiked bats. For centuries, the Haranir adhered to strict rules of secrecy, but with the arrival of the forces of the Void, they were forced to unite with outsiders. Players will be able to create a Haranir character in both the Alliance and the Horde.

But who you ally with matters little when a powerful entity like Xal'atath is at the door. She is not only strong but also cunning. In the past, she managed to subjugate the free ethereals, and now she is trying to demoralize the heroes. In the cinematic trailer, the antagonist psychologically pressures Arator. She implants the idea that at the most crucial moment, the Light will betray its paladin, faith will turn to fury, and nothing but ash will remain of the warrior. The half-elf has long suffered from insecurity due to his dual nature, and now he faces new doubts.

Recall that World of Warcraft: Midnight launches next week — on March 2. We can expect balance changes, Death Knight nerfs, new and updated locations. Functional player housing will appear, along with additional features and much more.
