Embark Studios is preparing for the release of the Shrouded Sky update for ARC Raiders on February 24th, and judging by the new teaser, players can expect more than just a hurricane. Keen-eyed fans noticed a detail in the promotional art that they've been requesting for months: a raider now sports a full beard.

Until now, all characters in the game have been clean-shaven, with available customization options limited to hairstyles, tattoos, and paint. The Shrouded Sky teaser is the first to show a hero with facial hair, which very likely means beards will soon appear in the character customization menu.

The Shrouded Sky update will add a new weather mode called "Hurricane" to the game, featuring powerful winds, flying debris, and heavy rain. A beard is unlikely to offer protection from the elements, but as a long-awaited customization element, it will definitely please the community. We can only guess whether the developers will limit themselves to beards or also add mustaches and goatees.
