Finally in replaced you can remove those annoying black cinematic bars

Sad Cat Studios rolled out an update for Replaced that reflects player feedback. You can skip dialogue now — a small relief if you replay sections — and the so-called "cinematic" black bars can be turned off. There’s also a tracker for collectible items, and a new level-selection menu that lets you replay single chapters to hunt down secrets.

The devs (not exactly thrilled, it seems) said ultrawide support wasn’t possible this time: the scenes are constructed so that widening the FoV breaks combat logic and reveals empty space beyond the set dressing, i.e., you’d see gaps and objects that weren’t meant to be visible.
