Exynos 2700 — Samsung Prepares a 2nm Chip with LPDDR6 and UFS 5.0 Support

Insiders have shared information about Samsung's next-generation flagship chipset, which is set to become the "heart" of the Galaxy S27 smartphone series. The project, codenamed Ulysses, aims to radically fix the reputation of Exynos processors.

Samsung plans to use the second generation of its 2nm manufacturing process. This is expected to provide a decisive advantage in energy efficiency and solve the long-standing overheating problem.

The chip will utilize the latest cores (Cortex-C2), which are expected to deliver performance on par with the best solutions from Apple and Qualcomm. The Exynos 2700 will also be one of the first to offer support for LPDDR6 and UFS 5.0. This is critically important for the lightning-fast operation of the built-in AI (Galaxy AI).
