"Everything Depends on You, Wolf" — Second Trailer for the Anime Sekiro: No Defeat

The anime series Sekiro: No Defeat, first announced in August, has just released another trailer. It favors a striking, sometimes abrasive art direction — unusual visual tricks and layering (e.g., texture overlays), bold camera moves, and intense action; the clip also puts several of the main characters on display.

Although the adaptation’s title isn’t identical to the game’s, the plot largely follows the events of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Wolf, the protagonist, is drawn back into protecting the Divine Heir while trying to steady a country sliding toward chaos — familiar beats for players, and perhaps less obvious for newcomers.

Several of the original Japanese cast are said to return and reprise their roles from the game, which should please fans who care about continuity (and who notice voice matches).

The premiere is slated for sometime in 2026 on Crunchyroll — though it won’t be officially available in certain territories such as Russia and Belarus. In Japan, the adaptation will get a theatrical run; stream here, see it on the big screen there — different experiences, depending on where you are.
