Even in its homeland, the game wasn’t spared: Brown Dust 2 will receive a censored version in South Korea

NEOWIZ has decided to ship a Korea-only censored client for Brown Dust 2; the worldwide build will remain as it is. The move comes after the Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) insisted on content edits — i.e., the studio had to alter parts of the game to keep distributing it in South Korea (KOR). For a title made there, that feels a bit ironic.

Producer Lee Joon Hee says the team was left with almost no choice if it wanted to keep the game on shelves in KOR. That restriction will apply only to the South Korean client; the global edition will continue to be distributed with the original content intact.

Once the separate client launches, South Korea will join Germany (GER) as one of the few markets with its own legally modified build of Brown Dust 2.
