The game director of Escape from Tarkov has shared how often players have finished the extraction shooter’s storyline. Recall that branching endings were added at the time of the game’s full release in November 2025; as of today, any ending has been seen more than 33.5 thousand times.
Looking across modes, the “Savior” ending — leaving Tarkov alongside Russian soldiers — appears 10.4 thousand times among completions. The bleak “Survivor” outcome, by contrast, has been reached only 682 times.
In PvE runs the story has been completed over 17.7 thousand times in total. Again, “Savior” dominates there too (almost 15 thousand completions). The rarest finish was “Debtor” — merely 804 players ever witnessed that result.
The director said he’s pleased with how endings spread out — there are plenty of self-styled “warriors of light” out there — but he also admitted he’s curious, i.e., wants to know how many people managed to unlock all four endings, since many folks replay the shooter repeatedly.
