Emerald Fennell revealed that not every sequence she imagined for her adaptation of Wuthering Heights survived to the final cut — several filmed moments ended up on the cutting-room floor. One of those discarded ideas, she said, involved a close-up of Margot Robbie’s unshaven armpits (yes, e.g., that specific detail). Fennell mentioned it in passing, with a tone that was part rueful, part bemused.

“Unfortunately, the scene where we see this didn’t make it into the film.”

The picture opened internationally on February 13 and, according to box-office reports, garnered a solid start. Its digital release took place at the end of March.
