Elijah Wood Predicts New "Lord of the Rings" Films

Elijah Wood, who played Frodo Baggins, has expressed his support for the filming of the new movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum." He noted that Andy Serkis as the project's director is the perfect choice for the story about his iconic character.

Wood also hinted at the studio's more extensive plans, stating that "their intention is to make other films in this universe as well." This could point to either a potential duology or other projects set in Tolkien's world.

Wood's own participation in the film has not yet been officially confirmed. Although earlier, Sir Ian McKellen, aka Gandalf, revealed the secret that Frodo will return.
