Edmund McMillen: Console Ports of Mewgenics Already in Development
The hit game Mewgenics is selling like hotcakes. The game was released just a week ago, only on PC, and has already sold over 650,000 copies. Why not solidify this success by releasing a console port? Well, it's already in development!
This was announced by one of the creators of Mewgenics, Edmund McMillen:
"We are working on the console version now. Just not sure when it will be done. For now, work is underway on all systems."
If nothing changes, the cat-themed roguelike can be expected on PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
Working on it now not sure when it will be done though but at this point it might be in Dev for all systems
The game's full soundtrack, consisting of 82 tracks, is now on sale. With a 10% discount until the end of February, the price is 347 rubles.
Furthermore, the developers recently announced that Mewgenics will receive an expansion. According to McMillen, it will require a lot of effort and time, so it most likely won't be free. According to the team's preliminary estimates, the release might happen in about a year.
For now, you can only play Mewgenics on Steam. There is no Russian language translation.
