Fallen Tear: The Ascension Metroidvania Enters Early Access on March 17th

Developers from Winter Crew Studios announced that Fallen Tear: The Ascension will launch into Early Access on Steam on March 17th. This is their debut Metroidvania, blending elements of JRPG and roguelite genres. The title tells the story of Hira, a mysterious child destined by fate to battle ancient gods.

The early version offers approximately 15-20 hours of initial content, featuring ten locations, along with six main and three optional bosses. True to the genre, the hero will traverse diverse lands, find allies, and master various combat skills for the battles ahead.

Explore the ever-changing map of Raoa, which transforms based on Hira's actions, uncover all its secrets, and enjoy meticulously crafted 2D graphics and high-quality voice acting. Beloved elements of Japanese role-playing games are seamlessly woven into the Metroidvania formula: find new party members scattered across Raoa and utilize their combined strength in battle. Seek out hidden paths, study enemy attack patterns, and master complex mechanics. Winter Crew Studios

The exact duration of the Early Access period is unknown. After the full release, the game will also be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Before purchasing, players can try out a demo version. Unfortunately, Russian localization is not available.
