Dynamis One, creators of the controversial Project KV, are working on a new game under the wing of NCSoft South Korean game studio Dynamis One, founded by former Nexon employees, is developing a new game after the cancellation of its controversial Project KV.
This was announced in a statement by publisher NCSoft on January 15. It is reported that NCSoft has decided to invest in the studio and release the upcoming game. Dynamis One was founded by former members of the core team behind Blue Archive, a popular gacha RPG from Nexon. In 2024, they announced the debut game of their new studio, codenamed Project KV. However, development of the game was suddenly canceled after negative reactions to its thematic and visual similarities to Blue Archive. The situation continued to escalate, and in February 2025, police raided Dynamis One on suspicion that employees had fled with unreleased Nexon development data. Evidence obtained during the search and seizure reportedly confirmed that the developers had engaged in embezzlement and attempted to compromise the development of Blue Archive before leaving. As a result, the CEO of Dynamis One and other key figures came under scrutiny by prosecutors on suspicion of violating Korea's Unfair Competition Prevention Act.
However, it appears that Dynamis One has begun work on a new game. According to NCSoft, the new game is an anime-style role-playing game with elements of magic, fully utilizing Dynamis One's previous experience in the genre. The game will likely be targeted at both Korean and overseas audiences, as NCSoft has announced that it has acquired the rights to publish the game both domestically and internationally.
