The game offers a unique concept: the player controls a team of Nomali, ordinary people from African countries who seek to return cultural artifacts illegally exported and exhibited in Western museums to their homeland.

The action takes place at the end of the 21st century. After politicians signed the Transatlantic Return Agreement, which promised the repatriation of African treasures, museums found a loophole. An amendment to the agreement required only exhibits on public display to be returned. In response, institutions began hiding artifacts in storage.
