The Elder Scrolls Online Team Details Gameplay Improvements in Update 49
The The Elder Scrolls Online team has detailed numerous gameplay improvements coming with Update 49, which launches simultaneously on all platforms on March 9 and is already available on the Public Test Server. Many of the improvements focus on the player experience and stem directly from community requests and feedback.
Mounts will become available for gold. Yes, new mounts will be purchasable from various stablemaster NPCs. The cost of each will vary depending on several factors related to their nature. These mounts will be available in regions that match their natural habitat. For example, camels in Hammerfell or elk in Valenwood.
The three original horses will also remain available from stablemasters, and you will be able to train them daily to improve their stamina, speed, and capacity. You will receive a significant improvement: three points in the chosen attribute during training.
One of the major changes in this update is the ability to freely change builds and respec skill points from anywhere. The only restriction is that you must ensure you are not in combat or in a PvP mode. Improvements to resource gathering to unlock the Werewolf and Vampire skill lines are also expected.
Update 49 will introduce several other important changes. The cost of bank and bag upgrades will be reduced, housing furnishing limits for non-Notable homes will also be increased, adding 50 slots. ESO Plus members will receive 100 slots as a bonus. Outfit slots will be unlocked account-wide.
