Director of Cyberpunk 2: First-person perspective is an excellent choice for the original story.
A short film based on Resident Evil Requiem has been released, starring the actress from "The Collector of Souls"
Capcom has released a short film based on Resident Evil Requiem featuring actress Maika Monroe, known for the horror film "The Collector of Souls". In Evil Has Always Had a Name, she plays a woman trying to save her daughter from a virus outbreak, but ultimately turning into a zombie. An obvious parallel is drawn here between Grace Ashcroft (one of the main heroines of the ninth RE installment) and her mother, Alissa.
Users in the YouTube comments noted that this three-and-a-half-minute video "outdoes" any of the existing film adaptations, including the infamous Netflix series. However, who knows — perhaps the upcoming film by Zack Cregger will manage to change their minds.
The release of Resident Evil: Requiem is scheduled for February 27th on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2. The game will have full Russian localization, but a demo will not be released before launch. PS5 Pro owners will receive a number of advantages over other console versions.
By the way, if we believe the controversial insider Dusk Golem, then the ninth installment of the long-running horror series will feature neither Chris nor Ada.
