Devil May Cry has been renewed for a third season — Media
According to the publication MP1st, Netflix reportedly greenlit a third season of the anime “Devil May Cry (Netflix)” (Devil May Cry) even before the second season hit screens. Media outlets say production on the follow-up has already started, though plot details remain tightly under wraps; there’s still no official confirmation.
The series centers on demon hunter Dante, facing off against powerful monsters and shadowy organizations (i.e., the kind of relentless, over-the-top threats the franchise is known for).
Producer Adi Shankar (“Castlevania”) and South Korean studio Studio Mir (“The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf”) are steering the project.
The second season is due to premiere on May 12. A trailer surfaced earlier, showing the main character reaches a noticeably different, higher gear — if that teaser is any sign, season two might push the tone in unexpected directions.
