Current Owners of Ashes of Creation File Countersuit Against Sharif

In the legal saga of Ashes of Creation, another twist has occurred. This time, lawyers for the current owner of the AoC intellectual property, TFE Holdings, have filed a countersuit against Steven Sharif, John Moore, and others, seeking a temporary restraining order. This follows Sharif's own recent lawsuit accusing him of misconduct.

As a result, a judge has issued a temporary restraining order, requiring Sharif not to destroy any records, financial and credit accounts, and to provide access to documents, usernames, and passwords for the company's technical accounts, including financial accounts, social media, websites, and more.

The defendant Sharif is the former CEO of Intrepid. Defendant Sharif possesses certain Intrepid assets, including but not limited to (collectively referred to as "Company Documents") certain Intrepid books and records, including all receipts and invoices for the past three (3) years, as well as payroll records dating back to 2016, and information for accounts on numerous technology platforms, bank and credit card accounts, and various third-party vendors.

It is also interesting and raises questions that TFE mentions a notice issued by Intrepid under the WARN Act, the legality of which is in doubt as the required notice apparently was not sent.

In this lawsuit, TFE essentially claims that Sharif possesses all company information from his time as CEO, from the website to the Reddit account, and that "the plaintiff cannot liquidate Intrepid's business and fulfill its obligations under the WARN Act, among other obligations."
