Space Battles Will Definitely Appear in Total War: Warhammer 40,000 Strategy Game
The developers of Total War: Warhammer 40,000 revealed during a live stream that space battles are bound to appear in the strategy game sooner or later. They fit the spirit of the grimdark universe, but Creative Assembly is not confident they will be able to implement battles in the depths of space by the game's release.
According to Total War Vice President Roger Collum, the Total War: Warhammer team (based on the Fantasy setting) has released three full-fledged games. Overall, Collum noted that Warhammer 40,000 is a vast universe, and the 40 books he has read barely scratch the surface of the dark world. That's why it's unlikely that Total War: Warhammer 40,000 will be able to fulfill absolutely every fan's wish. However, the developers promise to deliver detailed faction customization.
Recall that Total War: Warhammer 40,000 was announced during The Game Awards 2025. The strategy game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, and it has already been added to over 1 million wishlists on Steam.
