A fresh update — patch 1.02.00 — landed for the action-adventure Crimson Desert on PC and PlayStation 5; Xbox Series release is still pending. The patch brings a new "Helmet Display" toggle and a significant boost to warehouse space: storage can expand from 240 up to 1000 slots as your camp grows (i.e., tied to camp expansion progress).

There's also a new "Select Control Method" option offering "Basic" or "Classic" choices, plus assorted movement tweaks and assorted bug fixes. And yes — your feline companions get outfitted too: cats receive their own unique armor and helmets.

See the full patch notes on the official site for the complete list of changes.

Crimson Desert is currently available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. According to reports, it has sold over 4 million copies, and peak concurrent players on Steam recently hit a new record — notable, though not the whole story regarding reception.

Pearl Abyss says it has no plans for paid DLC, mod support, or multiplayer at the moment.
