The role-playing sandbox Hytale is preparing for its early access release, scheduled for January 13. Hypixel Studios is urging players to download the launcher in advance, as it's obvious the developers want to avoid potential technical issues at launch. Recall that last month they failed to handle the influx of users wanting to create an account on the game's website.

"We expect over 1 million players on Hytale's early access day (January 13). Please download the launcher today and log into the game right now to reduce the load on launch day. Let us know if you encounter any issues," said Hypixel Studios founder Simon Collins-Laflamme.

The launcher can be found to avoid "unnecessary" negative reviews.

Hytale is an ambitious cubic sandbox in the spirit of Minecraft, having survived cancellation and revival. Players can look forward to an exciting journey through a procedurally generated world full of dungeons, secrets, and diverse creatures.
