Corsair Unveils Galleon 100 SD Hybrid Keyboard at CES 2026 — A Fusion of Mechanics and Stream Deck

At CES 2026, Corsair introduced an innovative hybrid device — the Galleon 100 SD keyboard. This new product combines a mechanical keyboard and a full-fledged Elgato Stream Deck panel, primarily targeting streamers and gamers looking to enhance control over games and applications.

The device follows a "two-in-one" design. The left side features a mechanical keyboard with MLX Pulse linear switches, allowing for hot-swapping. The right side houses a hardware control panel, replacing the usual numeric pad with 12 programmable keys with individual displays, two rotary knobs, and a 5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 720 × 1280 pixels.

From a technical standpoint, the keyboard boasts impressive features: it supports a polling rate of 8,000 Hz and is equipped with FlashTap technology for complex keystroke recognition. This ensures instant response and exceptional input accuracy, crucial for demanding users.

Currently, device management requires two separate software programs. The left, keyboard part is configured using Corsair Web Hub, while the right panel operates on Elgato Stream Deck's classic software. Although this approach may initially complicate setup, Corsair has announced the development of unified firmware. In the future, it will enable, for example, controlling the keyboard's lighting directly from the Stream Deck panel, making interaction with the device more intuitive and convenient.

With full support for the Elgato plugin suite, the panel offers extensive automation capabilities. Users will be able to control media players like Spotify, set up streams in OBS Studio, launch macros, or manage smart home devices without switching applications. This significantly streamlines workflows and boosts system interaction efficiency.

The Corsair Galleon 100 SD is set to launch in the US on January 29, 2026. The recommended retail price is $350, approximately equivalent to 27,000 rubles.

The Galleon 100 SD is the result of a long evolution of the programmable key with display concept. The device will be particularly useful for those needing extended physical control over systems. Potential users include streamers wanting agile control over broadcasts, gamers engaged in complex simulators like Elite Dangerous, and content creators involved in video editing and processing.
