Control Resonant will receive a "New Game+" with surprises for experienced players
Remedy Entertainment has revealed details about the "New Game+" mode in the upcoming role-playing action-adventure Control Resonant. The devs make it clear: NG+ won't be a cakewalk — even if your char is already lvl max.
Most of what you unlocked on the first run comes with you. Abilities and upgrades largely carry over, and you can replay missions to chase alternative rewards or snag collectibles you missed initially.
Not everything stays intact, though. Movement powers get locked again and reopen as the story advances — traversal isn’t simply handed back; it has to be re-earn(ed), which alters how exploration feels (intentionally).
There’s also room to experiment. Skill combinations are less restricted, so new combat synergies can emerge, and a fourth slot for artifacts — eq. with passive effects — will be added.
Enemies change, too. Foes become tougher and more aggressive; some bosses learn new moves that can catch even veteran players off guard. If you relied on the same tricks before, be ready to adapt.
