Daniel Vavra No Longer Creative Lead at Warhorse — He Traded Games for a Film or Series Based on Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Warhorse founder and creative director Daniel Vavra has stepped down from his position and is no longer involved in the Czech studio's next project. At least, not the gaming one — the developer has turned to film.

Dan has a new role: creating a film based on Kingdom Come. We sense interest from the film world, and negotiations are already underway. We don't just want to sell the rights; we want the film to be exactly as we envision it.

The studio is no longer satisfied with just comics, concerts, and tourism, so the duology about Henry of Skalitz will become a large-scale film or series, with negotiations already in progress.

Vavra has even managed to write a draft version of the script. He made the decision himself to step away from game development and move forward, but he still remains a part of Warhorse.

Recall that in July, a "cinematic version" of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 was showcased at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
