The RUNE group has reported a successful hack of Diablo 2: Resurrected - Infernal Edition, a major update that added the long-awaited Necromancer class to the game. The release was protected by a triple-layer system: Battle.net, standard license protection, and the recently implemented Eidolon. It was precisely the latter that caused the previous hack by Blizzless to stop working, leaving pirates without access to the new content for some time.

The Necromancer, introduced in the expansion, offers three skill trees: summoning demonic allies, enhancing weapons with dark magic, and devastating long-range attacks using fire, shadows, and chaos.
