Borderlands 4 to Receive Second Story DLC on September 10
So: publisher 2K and devs at Gearbox have set a date for FL4K and the Last Resort, an add-on for Borderlands 4. A short teaser points to a September 10 launch — at least, that’s the gist.
The spotlight falls on the robot-hunter Z4LP (aka FL4K from Borderlands 3). In the teaser he heads for Kairos to rescue his skag, Mr. Kusya, which quickly becomes a chase across an abandoned island resort where Tediore Corporation is quietly mounting an invasion. New playable face: Loveless, formerly an Unsinn hacker, now a mercenary assassin—cybernetic upgrades, and a self-made digital virus that, quote, "can transform into a physical extension of her will." (Kinda unsettling, imo.)
More info will arrive soon. Odds are Gearbox will drop a full trailer during Gamescom 2026’s opening on August 25 at 21:00 — fingers crossed. Meanwhile, players get something to do: the fourth pack of "Unprecedented Generosity" lands July 30 and brings new story beats plus tough, high-level fights. Expect a trek through a contaminated desert canyon to help Levain sort out disputes among warring factions; complete it and you’ll unlock new skins for both Vault Hunters and their vehicles and the ECHO-4 drone.
Borderlands 4 is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series — Russian text localization included.
