Bloodborne Returns in 2027 – Fans Offered an Unusual Umbrella Inspired by the Game
Super Groupies will issue an officially licensed Bloodborne item in 2027: an umbrella named the Childhood’s Beginning Model that draws its visual cues from the finale of FromSoftware’s action game. Pre-orders are already available, and the company says the first units will begin shipping in mid-April 2027.
The umbrella’s motif references one of Bloodborne’s most iconic images — specifically the ending sequence and the protagonist’s transformation tied to the Great Cosmic Entity. Super Groupies designed the accessory to echo the game’s distinctive aesthetic, marketing it primarily to longtime fans rather than attempting to reinterpret the franchise.
Super Groupies is no stranger to producing licensed goods for games and anime, and this umbrella adds to its lineup years after Bloodborne first launched.
The announcement serves as a reminder that official merchandise tied to the franchise continues to appear, even in the absence of any new game-related announcements.
Bloodborne originally released on PlayStation 4 in 2015 and remains one of FromSoftware’s best-known titles. The Childhood’s Beginning Model umbrella is an official collectible arriving in 2027, but it does not represent a remake, remaster, or sequel to the game.
