"Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales" Returns to Android and iOS — Players Demand a Sequel
The role-playing game Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales has begun returning to Android and iOS stores after disappearing and receiving bug fixes.
CD Projekt RED warns that the game Players have received the news very positively, even though "Thronebreaker" never disappeared from PC and consoles. Gamers consider the spin-off underrated, partly due to its focus on the card game Gwent. Many are openly asking CD Projekt RED to work on a sequel or simply new "Tales." There are also requests to add new localizations to the card-based RPG. Fortunately, Russian language is already available.
It is likely that the developers will not handle such spin-offs themselves — even the remake of the first "The Witcher" was given to another studio. The announced yesterday evening Reigns: The Witcher is also being handled by external developers, albeit under the close supervision of CD Projekt RED.
Returning to Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, its initial release was back in 2018 — the game is now available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. The spin-off earned praise from critics and regular players alike — its events take place during Andrzej Sapkowski's book saga. And at the center of "Thronebreaker" is Meve. The ruler embarks on a dark path of loss and revenge due to the threat of an inevitable invasion.
