Black Desert Mobile Adds Ancient Anvil for Safer Upgrades

Black Desert Mobile has introduced the Ancient Anvil system, which reduces the risks and frustration of upgrading equipment.

Borrowed from the PC version, this mechanic accumulates progress even during unsuccessful upgrade attempts.

Each failure fills the anvil gauge depending on the upgrade level. When the gauge is completely filled, the next attempt is guaranteed to be successful. Importantly, progress is counted retroactively from July 1, 2025, so players don't start from scratch.

The system is designed to make progress more predictable and allow for strategic planning of upgrades. In honor of the update, four in-game events have been launched that distribute auxiliary items for upgrades:

Restoration Scrolls
Sealed Amulet of Succession
Okiara's Blessing

Black Desert Mobile has finally added the "Ancient Anvil" — sharpening items is now safer.
