Best Re-release of 2025: Metal Gear Solid Delta, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Stronghold Crusader
Last year gifted players with many remasters, remakes, and reimaginings — in short, re-releases of beloved classics. Some surprised with something unexpected, while others drew attention for their careful treatment of the original. And in any case — each such game found its audience.
Third Place — Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition
In third place is Stronghold Crusader: Definitive Edition. The legendary studio Firefly prepared an imperfect, but still quality edition of the classic real-time strategy about the bloody Crusades.

Second Place — The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered
Fans of role-playing games were delighted with the solid remaster of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, which modernized one of the most popular games in the series. So Bethesda's new release was generally liked by veterans and attracted a new audience to "Oblivion" and TES.
Oblivion Remastered allows you to fall in love again with one of the most important RPGs of this century and beautifully present it to a new generation of gamers. It's not perfect, but a quite worthy modernization of a classic that definitely deserves a chance.

First Place — Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
But only by summing up the indicators of "bronze" and "silver" could the leader's indicator be surpassed — the stealth-action Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The developers succeeded in creating a good remake, maximally faithful to the original. So fans of the classic stealth-action were satisfied. It's great that in recent years Konami has actively taken up updating the legend — we await new remakes and hope for their high quality!
