Electronic Arts announced layoffs at Full Circle studio, which is developing Skate. The game was released in early access five months ago.

The statement speaks of a "transformation" of the team — in practice, this means layoffs of some employees. The scale is not disclosed.

The decision was made amid declining interest: the peak online on Steam fell from 135 thousand at launch to a few thousand by early 2026.

The studio updated the roadmap for the third season. Features were divided into categories "in development" and "on the radar" — with no clear deadlines or guarantees.

EA assures that the commitment to the development of Skate remains unchanged.
