Battles with Yokai and Time Travel in Nioh 3 Gameplay Demo

With just two weeks left until the release of Nioh 3, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have decided to remind everyone about the game once more. They did this by releasing another gameplay demo for the trilogy's third installment.

The 17-minute segment features intense fights, a variety of yokai, and the sinister Furnace across different eras. During numerous clashes, the protagonist, Takechiyo Tokugawa, demonstrates his abilities and freely switches between ninja and samurai stances. Changing stances helps adapt to the situation and gain the upper hand even against the toughest opponents.

The samurai stance involves open confrontation, parrying blows, and a wide range of attacks. Meanwhile, the ninja style allows the hero to outmaneuver enemies using ninjutsu and evasions, as well as employing aerial attacks and strikes from behind.

The protagonist's main goal is to save Japan from the evil forces that have overrun it. Consumed by envy and hatred, Takechiyo's younger brother, Kunimatsu Tokugawa, has plunged into darkness and unleashed a horde of yokai against his sibling. On the brink of death, Takechiyo gains the ability to travel through time thanks to the mystical power of his guardian spirit, Kusanagi.

You can dive into the samurai world of Nioh 3 starting February 6th on PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5, featuring a text translation into Russian. On January 29th, a demo version will be released on the mentioned platforms, and progress made in it will be transferable to the full version of the title. Completing the demo will reward players with in-game cosmetic item in the form of a helmet.
