Asus says that the rtx 5070 ti and 5060 ti 16 gb have not yet been discontinued even though there are few of them left

The situation with yesterday's information about the discontinuation of the NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16 GB graphics cards has taken a new turn. After the sensational headlines about the "death" of the popular models, ASUS has come forward with an explanation that it's not that simple.

The company's statement says that these solutions have not been given End-of-Life (EOL) status, as many publications reported yesterday, but at the same time, no clear statement has been made that such graphics cards are being produced in the same volumes as before.

ASUS acknowledges that one of their PR managers may have provided incomplete information, which led to yesterday's news. However, again, such a reaction from ASUS is extremely logical, even if the supply of these graphics cards has indeed been suspended — such headlines are clearly not pleasant for NVIDIA.

Although the cards have not been "killed," ASUS has once again confirmed that the video memory supply crisis has hit production hard. Because of this, restocking schedules have been disrupted, and there are fewer cards in stores.
