Player opinions are divided: those who liked the game highlight its well-thought-out crafting system and the developers' promising ideas. At the same time, the majority of users agree that Astrobotanica, at its current stage, appears extremely underdeveloped and requires serious refinement.

The game's plot introduces the player to an alien botanist named Ksel. His mission is to save his species, but during his journey, the hero crashes. Now he must adapt to an unfamiliar atmosphere, study the local inhabitants, and build his own base.
