Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced fully optimized for Steam Deck

Ubisoft has reached out to assassins to say that the action-RPG Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced will be playable on Steam Deck at launch, on July 9, 2026. No Deck gameplay has been posted yet — that's on the devs for now — but the store page carries Valve’s official verification badge. Steam buyers will also find achievements, trading cards and other Steam items listed on the page.

We wanted players to be able to take Edward’s voyages with them, so we tuned the Steam Deck/pPC profile accordingly. Our devs pushed RT support across platforms and rebuilt the Caribbean basin with modern hw in mind; dynamic weather was part of that rethink, aiming for something that looks and feels right whether you dock or keep sailing.
