ARC Raiders Developers Unveil Roadmap for Future Updates

Embark Studios has presented a new development plan for ARC Raiders for the next four months. The team plans to release new content every month, with the first quarter being presented under the title "Escalation." While players already have some details, especially regarding January, the developers are in no rush to reveal everything. We will get more information over time, but for now, we can start speculating based on the update names and structure, as well as some hints in the new developer blog.

The cold period has passed, but its danger casts a long shadow. Extreme weather conditions will continue to test Raiders as they gather resources on the surface, essential for the functioning of Speranza. The increased ARC presence continues to trouble Shani, as the Rust Belt becomes increasingly overloaded, yet no one is in control. The scale of the impending escalation remains unknown. Head to the surface into the increasingly unstable Rust Belt—and make sure you are ready for what awaits.

This month, players received the Headwinds update with a new matchmaking option for levels 40+, a brand new minor condition on the map, and a player project.

Next month, Shrouded Sky will be released, featuring a new map condition that will be part of a major update. There will be a new threat from ARC, a map update, an expedition window, a player project, and other new features.

In March, Flashpoint will be released, promising new map conditions, a player project, a new ARC threat, and an update full of chaos.

Finally, in April, the Riven Tides update will arrive. Expect a new map, a major ARC, new map conditions, and a new expedition window.

In addition to all these innovations, there will be new quests, new achievements, challenges, events, new items, cosmetic improvements, quality-of-life updates, and much more yet to be announced.
