ARC Raiders has been a constant presence in the sales charts since its release in October, so its sales figures were expected to be substantial. Not long ago, analysts estimated that the extraction shooter had likely crossed the 12 million copies sold mark, and recently, Embark Studios confirmed this.

According to the press release, gamers have purchased 12.4 million copies of ARC Raiders. Furthermore, in January, the project set a new peak concurrent player record, reaching 960,000 simultaneous players across all platforms.

"Your support for ARC Raiders fills us with immense pride and gratitude. We can't wait to continue this journey with you in the new year!" — the developers shared.

To celebrate this major sales milestone, the developers have started gifting players a special pickaxe. It will be automatically granted to all users who logged into ARC Raiders from the shooter's launch until 01:59 Moscow Time on January 14th. Embark admitted they originally planned to tie the gift to reaching 10 million players, but over the winter holidays, the number of copies sold significantly surpassed the initial target.

ARC Raiders is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series with Russian text localization.

In future updates, Embark promises to polish game mechanics, strengthen the project's foundation, and "do everything to make it truly exciting for Raiders to compete."
